uber for laundry

Loopie was a venture-backed, peer-to-peer laundry platform connecting time-strapped customers with a network of certified independent washers. Often called the "Uber for laundry", Loopie scaled to nine major U.S. markets and facilitated nearly $3.5M in orders.

Backed by $4M in funding, including investment from early Uber backer Jason Calacanis, Loopie operated at the intersection of the gig economy and consumer services. Across two internships, I contributed as a graphic and web designer.

Illustration

I owned the expansion of the brand illustration system end-to-end. The illustrations appeared across customer-facing marketing, social channels, and in-app touchpoints, becoming a defining element of the brand's personality.

Social media

Instagram

I created social content that distilled Loopie's value proposition into brand-aligned visuals, working with a systematic approach to maintain feed cohesion. The content spanned promotional or seasonal campaigns, community storytelling, and washer recruitment, always keeping the audience or cultural moment in mind.

Newsletter

e-mail newsletter

To support Loopie's network of independent washers, I co-created a recurring internal
e-mail newsletter, which was a direct communications channel built to inform, engage, and retain the gig workers powering the platform.

Website

Onboarding Webpage

Blog webpage

I designed the Loopie blog and washer onboarding flow, which were two surfaces serving distinct user goals. The blog functioned as a brand and SEO touchpoint for prospective customers, while the onboarding webpage guided new washers through certification with minimal friction. Both prioritized clarity and conversion within Loopie's established visual system.
